Lead by Example 

It’s hard to take a manager seriously who says one thing and does another. If you require your employees to follow a certain rule, you better also adhere to it yourself. For example, if you have a strict one-hour lunch policy, you shouldn’t be taking longer lunches either. You’ll get much more respect from employees if you set a good example for them.
